JENNIE DALE

Jennie trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has gone on to enjoy a successful career in theatre and on television.

In addition to her many West End credits, Jennie is known for playing Captain Captain in the hit CBeebies TV series “Swashbuckle” and for presenting her show “Jennie’s Fitness In 5” for CBeebies and CBBC.

Jennie made her West End debut in “Scrooge” at the Dominion Theatre.  Her extensive list of credits in London includes Deb in “Elf” (Dominion Theatre), Mae in “The Pajama Game” (Shaftesbury Theatre), “Sister Act” (London Palladium), “The Lord of the Rings” (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), “Mary Poppins” (Prince Edward Theatre), “Jerry Springer The Opera” (Cambridge Theatre), “Les Misérables” (Palace Theatre), “The Witches of Eastwick” (Theatre Royal Drury Lane).

Numerous other theatre credits include Diction Coach/Dora Bailey, in “Singin’ In The Rain” (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris) Maggie Jones in “42nd Street” (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), Rosie in “Mamma Mia” (UK and International Tour), Parchester in “Me And My Girl” (Chichester Festival Theatre) Matron in David Walliams’ “The Midnight Gang” (Chichester Festival Theatre), “Gigi” (Regents Park Open Air Theatre), “Oliver!” (UK and International Tour), “Summer Holiday” (UK Tour), “Carmen” (Royal Opera House).

Her television credits include Alana Huxley in “Doctors” in (BBC), Leanne in the “Tracey Ullman Show” (BBC), Rose Lancaster in “Midsummer Murders” (ITV) and Freda – Let’s Do It! in Victoria Wood’s Midlife Christmas (BBC).

Jennie‘s other television credits include The Moon in “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas”, Nurse in “Romeo and Juliet”, Jiffy The Big Boss Elf in “Christmas in Storyland”, The Witch in “Hansel and Gretel” and Mrs Fitzwarren in “Dick Whittington And His Cat”. Many of these productions were shown in cinemas across the UK. More recently, Jennie has played Audrey in “As You Like It” and Maria in “Twelfth Night” at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in conjunction with CBeebies.

Jennie is also a Choreographer and Vocal Coach and has created award-winning groups and solos for All England Dance competitions.  She directed Boublil & Schonberg’s “Do You Hear The People Sing?” at Resorts World Manila, starring Lea Salonga.
